LEED Accreditation Changes

There have been some changes in the LEED accreeditation process. They have added 3 tiers. The first being LEED Green Associate. LEED Green Associate is an individual that has successfully passed the exam to achieve LEED Green Associate status. This accreditation is for professionals who want to demonstrate green building expertise in non-technical fields of practice, GBCI has created the LEED Green Associate credential, which denotes basic knowledge of green design, construction, and operations. You must have had documented involvement on a LEED-registered projectOR employment (or previous employment) in a sustainable field of work OR engagement in (or completion of) an education program that addresses green building principles. The next level is LEED Accredited Professional with Specialty A LEED AP is an individual that has successfully passed the exam to achieve LEED Accredited Professional status. The LEED AP credential signifies an advanced depth of knowledge in green building prac
